He got on a call instantly and we scheduled a session immediately after speaking! :-) The sessions on were always personalized and easy to follow. Highly Recommended! The teacher addresses every doubt diligently. There is no rush. The teacher is patient. The communication skills are good. The teacher has been punctual. The teacher has been professional. There is teamwork which is evident. The teacher has taken feedback after each session. The teacher has encouraged me to write honest feedback of what has actually happened so that other readers benefit from the same. He also wanted me to write my story. It can help someone sailing in the same boat. He has stated he prefers only the facts; praising be kept at minimum. If done, it must be factual and not even a little exaggeration.
I was looking for someone who will take me to a very high test score. If you need a Verbal Tutor who knows what he is doing, then you must try him for at least a couple of sessions. There are a plenty of tutors out there. But you will know the difference for yourself if you do this act of trying Mr NK out for a couple of live sessions. Honestly, it is all about finding the right fit and there is nothing like a “best teacher”! The best tutor on gmat club or P&Q may not do justice to your profile besides being super expensive at USD 500 an hour! :-)
Based upon my experience so far, I highly recommend considering this tutor for initial two, three or four sessions and then take it from there! Each session is of 99 or 100 minutes. No breaks. Plus 8 min before and 8 min after. See if the tutor is the right fit for you. Later, you can pay for a longer duration! He is a Verbal specialist. Even then he has also given me an overall approach. This covers the full exam. He can suggest some strategy for Quant too.

I am writing this review based on my first-hand knowledge and connecting with this teacher listed here.
Based on what I was told and guided I thought I must write my story here. FYI I am actually a student who met him online via google search which led me to the profile on this portal. I took my services online as we are in different countries! :-) This is NOT being written by a “known person” or “a friend” or “an employee” or even “a relative”! I have actually been associated for close to 3 months now in a tutor-student professional relationship! This has to be clarified, considering how some of these reviews are these days! ;-)

Guidance on Admission Process and Verbal Section
In the consultation session, I learned about the admission process, fee structure, opportunities and some other important factors that are crucial to have a clear picture of getting into some of the Top International Universities.
I have come across many key points during the presentation which I was not aware of previously but as I have the guidance now, I think the path ahead of me will be easier than I thought it would be!
After the consultation, I was given an essay to write, which at first was not perfectly written by me. Many mistakes were made by me. Once I was done writing, I was explained what all the errors are and how not to make the same errors in the future.
Additionally, I was given a quick feedback on what I need to improve with regards to the Verbal Section especially Writing. Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling and Vocabulary are the areas of improvement for me.

I am trying for Masters programs in Canada. For GMAT Verbal I had originally connected with the tutor in November 2020 but later realized that GRE is more of my thing. I got amazing guidance from the Prof on how to apply and get the best out of the application process. He has also given me bonus guidance on how to land a training and internship opportunity after admission. Most importantly the tutor was able to successfully restore my faith on how to become able to clear the Verbal section of the GRE. Have already finished the initial 6 paid evaluation sessions from the Prof N Kumar Y C K. These sessions have been helpful in evaluating myself and to evaluate the parts of the test as well. I am about to begin my studies in full seriousness and will soon appear for the exam. I hope to crack it! Wish me luck!

Month of December going by! GMAT in January! Barely any time! I am struggling with Verbal. Where do I go? What do I do? Let's search online. Bingo! Prof NYK's profile seems striking. And sure enough, he is readily available to help out at short notice! This Verbal Teacher impresses me. His approach, his voice and overall mastery of the content is really something to be experienced. e.g. A unique set of Q's on CR (Unbeatable!). This super teacher has been very diligent, pleasant and deeply insightful of the subjects that are taken up for teaching purpose. I took up the services during the pandemic in 2020 for GRE for which I have got a very good score as of now (as I write this). I found this super tutor to be professional and available even at the last minute! I got lucky I guess to find him here in my budget. Have got all the right help with my standardised test preparation. Highly recommended! :-)

Being at a very crucial stage of my GMAT preparation, I found this tutor. During our session we got into the finer nuances of SC.
The learning curve went up progressively as we explored the logic, the syntax and the semantics behind each question and it's answers options. This elaborate process helped me understand my own level of knowledge of the subject. I hope to soon crack the exam and get admissions at a dream institute. Thank You.

Because the tutor teaches the subject right from basics, the learning becomes very lucid! His own knowledge of various languages across geographies seems to be deep and insightful. He is fluent in several languages as well! Eg I am in a Latin American Country. He connected damn well!

These aspects make him a great teacher who can teach difficult subjects. Do note that learning the nuances can make all the difference. He has taught me both Verbal and Quant for my standardized aptitude test!

He teaches from the basics and explains every word and he is very patient when he teaches ... teaches in a way i can remember the words

The Prof was our Mr Dependable.
At the fag end of the academic season with exams approaching fast around corner, we approached basis a recommendation from a family friend.
All teachers were either refusing or quoting a bomb for services of tutoring the child!
In the prevailing scenario, we were much pleasnatly surprised and delighted when Prof N Kumar not only agreed to put in extra hours (despite his hectic schedule due to the work season) but he also assured us that he would take care of teaching right from basics!

He finished the course patiently with my kid. The nervousness dissipated from my kid's face and he became a much more confident student!
