Olá, tudo bem? :) My name is Paulo and I'd like to welcome you to my space dedicated to teaching and learning Portuguese.
I'm Brazilian, with a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Languages - French and Portuguese - from the University of Lyon, France, and a Master's degree in Lusophone Studies from the same university.
Passionate about teaching and learning foreign languages and cultures, as well as art, I'm always looking to integrate these two worlds. Today, I speak six languages, which enables me to fully understand the challenges my students may face in their learning and to better accompany them along the way.
I have almost two years' experience in teaching foreign languages, both face-to-face and online. During this time, I've had the privilege of teaching students from various countries - including France, Poland, Italy and the Netherlands - with a variety of academic, professional and personal objectives. This diversity of profiles and motivations has enabled me to develop a flexible and personalized teaching approach, always adapted to the needs and learning style of each student.
As a teacher, I am committed to accompanying each learner from his or her first step through to mastery of the language, and my greatest satisfaction is to see the progress of each and every one of my students.

In my classes, you'll find an interactive and dynamic environment, where the emphasis is on real communication and practical use of the Portuguese language. From the very first meeting, I strive to put you at ease and encourage you to express yourself in Portuguese, whatever your current level.
I use active methodologies, making learning stimulating, enjoyable and personalized, always in line with your objectives and interests.
I would like to emphasize that courses will be structured according to your specific needs, learning rhythm and language level. They can therefore be adjusted along the learning process, if we deem it necessary, to ensure optimum progress.
What's more, I'm convinced that learning Portuguese also involves cultural immersion. My area of research focuses on the integration of art into the teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language, and I regularly integrate elements of music, film and literature into my courses, to enrich your learning and make it even more meaningful and captivating.

J’ai des cours avec Paulo depuis presque 6 mois et je peux dire que j’ai beaucoup progressé en portugais depuis que j’ai commencé. J’aime bien ses cours, je trouve qu’ils sont intéressants et bien structurés. Je le recommanderais à toute personne voulant apprendre le portugais.
